Flowers Fade

“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”  Isaiah 40:8

This was my first attempt at a watercolor flower. As it dried, more of the mistakes I made became visible. I realized how doing certain things would cause specific outcomes, despite how it appeared right at the time. Our understanding changes as we grow. But God never changes. If something doesn’t add up, it isn’t Him but our knowledge that is off. By spending time daily in The Word we will grow closer to His meaning and further from our own personal interpretations.
